The critical love and affection for Nicolas Cage’s upcoming horror movie Longlegs grows as the film receives a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score.
That’s correct. Longlegs premiered with a flawless 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, confirming the enormously excellent first comments. Although the film has yet to be published to the general public, those who have seen it have been completely taken aback by filmmaker Osgood Perkin’s frightening invention.
“Longlegs is Perkins’ trademark aesthetic at max volume, lingering in your thoughts, under your skin, and in the pit of your stomach well after it’s over,” according to Inverse’s Matt Donato. According to Meagan Navarro of Bloody Disgusting, “Longlegs get under your skin and stay there, immersing you so thoroughly in the repulsive, discomforting nature of evil.”
According to Flickering Myth’s EJ Moreno, who calls Longlegs “the pure horror experience we’ve been waiting for,” the film has already been named the finest of the year and the previous decade, hinting at its potential as an upcoming horror movie on Netflix.

Longlegs, starring Nicolas Cage as the most insane serial murderer, follows horror icon Maika Monroe as new FBI recruit Lee Harker, who, in a Silence of the Lambs-style manner, is assigned to an unsolved murder case as her first duty. However, things take an unexpected turn when the agent finds a personal link to the case, requiring her to swiftly unravel a series of occult clues to put a stop to a deadly killing spree.
The Blackcoat’s Daughter’s Perkins is the writer and director of the new horror movie Longlegs, which stars Cage, Monroe from It Follows, Kiernan Shipka from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Alicia Witt from The Walking Dead, Blair Underwood from American Crime Story, and many others.
