Lopez and Garner were seen entering Affleck’s Brentwood, California, rental property on Wednesday, June 12, to attend a graduation celebration for Garner and Affleck’s 12-year-old son Samuel.
Earlier that day, Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, both wore their wedding rings to Samuel’s graduation ceremony while they dealt with marital issues.
Affleck has 3 children with his previous wife, Garner: Samuel, Violet (18), and Seraphina (15). Meanwhile, Lopez and her ex-husband Marc Anthony have twins, Max and Emme, who are 16 years old.
This is not the first time the two have attended a family function while dealing with relationship troubles. Lopez backed Samuel earlier this month by attending his basketball game when she and Affleck exchanged a kiss on the cheek.
“It’s a good sign they were at the game together,” a source informed us at the time. Violet and Affleck clasped hands during her high school graduation ceremony three days ago.
According to a source, Lopez and the Academy Award winner are still “friendly” despite their marital issues. “They’re still friendly and see each other every few days,” the source said.
As Affleck and Lopez face marital problems just under two years after their wedding, on May 28, Garner, 52, “wants the best for” her ex-husband. “She wants him to be happy and healthy so he can be the best father possible,” the source claimed.
According to the insider, Garner, who is dating Cali Group’s chairman and CEO John Miller, appreciates Lopez’s healthy lifestyle and supports Ben’s recovery. Jen wants that for Ben.
Affleck and Garner were married in 2009. The former couple announced their split in 2015 and formally filed for divorce in April 2017, which was completed the following year. Lopez and Affleck, meanwhile, resumed their early 2000s affair in 2021 before marrying in July 2022.
In recent weeks, the couple has been living apart in Los Angeles, as Lopez has been promoting her picture Atlas in L.A. and Mexico alone, while Affleck has been shooting his forthcoming project The Accountant 2 in L.A.
